چکیده
The studies on In-Hospital Cardiac Arrest are limited by the fact that most of them carried out for patient admitted in ICU. Particularly ward patients, there lies a big void literature and hence this research study was undertaken order to clinical outcome in-hospital cardiac arrest patients ward. A hospital based observational among 119 evaluate presented Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital & Research Centre, Pune over period 2 years. Male female ratio 1.8:1 with higher incidence age group 61-70 years (28.6%). 44 were first place, 25% (11 patients) survived 24 hours post resuscitation total 4 discharged from hospital. Rest 75 required ICU admission initially later sent where they sustained arrest. (32%) cardiopulmonary 12 (16%) later.Out 55.5% had revival immediately 44.5% died resuscitation. Patient shockable initial rhythm monitor better outcomes than non-shockable so early defibrillation is advised rhythm. Of all who arrest, those causes electrolytes disturbance as preceding cause outcome.

Initial documented rhythm as a predictor of survivalto-discharge rate after in-hospital cardiac arrest in a tertiary care referral institute, South India: an observational study
Objective: Survival-to-discharge rates following in-hospital cardiac arrest (IHCA) patients remain significantly low. The use of initial documented cardiac rhythm as predictor of Survival-to-discharge is still unclear. This study aimed to assess whether the initial documented rhythm can be used as a predictor of survival-to-discharge following IHCA in an emergency department of the tertiary car...

BACKGROUND In-hospital cardiac arrest (IHCA) is a catastrophic complication for patients while admitted in a medical institution. The outcome of IHCA remains poor, and understanding of the prognostic factors for survival outcome after IHCA is lacking, specifically in an oriental population. METHODS A retrospective observational cohort study of 382 patients with IHCA who required resuscitation...

متن کاملCommentary on “Duration of Resuscitation Efforts and Survival After In-Hospital Cardiac Arrest: An Observational Study”
Decisions about the appropriate termination of resuscitation attempts are among the most important that teams must face, yet there have been very few studies looking into the issue. Many national guidelines refer only to advance decisions to prevent the initiation of resuscitation, such as DNAR orders,(1-3) and yet the decision to continue or abort on-going treatment is a clinical one, which sh...
